Farris Bad has an unbeatable location on the Larvik city beach, only 1,5 hours from Oslo and 15 minutes from Torp airport. With one foot on land and one foot in the water, this unique and exclusive spa hotel is something completely out of the ordinary.
On out beach terrace you can enjoy our organic breakfast, our delicate lunch buffet, or reserve space for a group to enjoy a juicy grill buffet. Here you can sink down into one of our outdoor lounges and enjoy a cold drink on a warm summer’s day. The terrace is covered and heated for the late evenings or greyer days. The beach terrace can accommodate 80.
In our amazing Kildesal we can dine up to 300 guests on long tables, e-shaped table, or round tables. We set the table with white linen tablecloth and napkins, floral arrangements and silverware. There is possibilities for a bar in the venue. Stage-modules, dance-floor and standard technical equipment is available.
Our Water Lounge is constantly living and in movement, just like the spring. In Water Lounge you can have an informal businessmeeting at daytime, or relax ”after work” after a workweek. Here the evening slips into the small hours with comfortable chill-out music in the background. Have a cup of tea, a glass of wine, or enjoy a light bite.
The barmenu consists of a varies selection of international and sophisticated drinks, high-end cognac, armagnac, whisky, grappa and more. Ask our skilled bartenders, and maybe you will discover a new favourite drink? We tend to serve them with a new twist.

In our large hall Kildesalen you have an unparalleled sea view. The same goes for the boardroom Styrerommet. All our 11 meeting rooms and mingle-areas are full of sunlight, fresh air, and large glass panes.
In a modern and dynamic spa resort it goes without saying that the technical works seamlessly. AV equipment is installed in all rooms and wireless internet is available throughout the hotel. We can set up a cinema, dance floor, stages, and cars can be driven into Kildesalen. What more can you ask?
Restaurant
Our french-inspired kitchen will take you on a culinary journey among pure and honest taste experiences served in our delicately decorated restaurant.
Our fresh produce is locally sourced, both from the sea and from the cornucopia of Norway: Vestfold. They are served with a playfulness, love, and our own identity. It is healthier, it tastes better and it tastes more.
The restaurant is placed in the heart of the hotel with a fantastic view over Larvikfjorden. The restaurant can accommodate 200 diners.
SPA
Farris Bad has the largest and most well-equipped spa-department in the nordics, and is the only hotel to have established its spa on a genuine mineral-rich spring.
Every day, fresh spring water whirls from 55 metres below ground into our springwater grotto. Nutritious and healthbringing, the water spends 20 years on its journey through the glacial moraines under the beech forest and into Farris Bad, being purified on the way.
Our spa focuses on physical and mental excersise, a balanced diet, and treatments. Here you will find calm, from within to the surface. Good information and skilled therapists make sure you always are looked after. The interior heavily feature the beautiful stone larvikite, which together with the sea and the beach gives a unique spa-experience.
In Farris Bad spa you will find Mineralspa, Spring Water Grotto, tepidarium, Soft Sauna, Herbal Sauna, Finnish Sauna, Cold pool, Foot baths, tropic showers, shower grotto, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, Kneipp-pool, lady sauna, Float, and a toral of 18 specially made treatment rooms.
