Copperhill Mountain Lodge in Åre offers world-class architecture, a warm atmosphere and concern for every detail. It has a convenient location, with ski slopes and walking trails just outside the door. After an active day in the mountains, you can relax in the hotel’s award-winning spa, enjoy locally-sourced cuisine and breathtaking views.
The hotel has 112 rooms and suites, as well as conference facilities for 450 people. It has a Sami-inspired spa, restaurants, generous areas for socialising, lounges, a library and its own helicopter pad.
Åre-Björnen’s family-friendly ski slopes are right outside the hotel. Continuing to Åre’s pistes is easy for those who want more of a challenge. Walking, fishing and cycling attract guests from around the world in the summer and autumn.
Our lobby bar is called Fireside and is at the heart of the hotel. Curl up in a soft armchair, let your gaze rest on the mountains and enjoy the mellow atmosphere. The menu has food and drinks for the day and evening.
During the autumn, Fireside is also a bistro where we offer seasonal foods, hearty flavours and a relaxed atmosphere. Food will be served on the terrace in sunny weather.
Restaurants at Copperhill Mountain Lodge
The restaurants at Copperhill Mountain Lodge in Åre are inspired by their surroundings, their history and traditional craftsmanship. By nature and from mankind. We use sustainably produced ingredients from the forests, fields and waters around the mountains of Åre.
Our dining room, Niesti, is where you are served breakfast and dinner in relaxed surroundings. After a day in the mountains, it is a great place to enjoy well-prepared food based on Swedish and European cuisine.
Fireside is our lounge bar, at the heart of the hotel. Curl up in a soft armchair and enjoy the mellow atmosphere. It serves cocktails, wines by the glass and a wide range of beer from around the world. You can also order food from Niesti’s menu.
The Library is our latest addition and will open in December 2011. It will serve top class cuisine using Jämtlandic and Swedish ingredients in a modern manner, and the drinks will play a prominent role.
Coppermine Co is open to groups and during school holidays. It serves hearty, rustic food for the whole family.
