Clarion Hotel Wisby is a personal hotel located on the inside the city wall of Visby. Surrounded by a medieval environment and the harbour we can promise you a very pleasant stay!

Clarion Hotel Wisby is an amalgamation of several historical buildings, all with their own unique story to tell. The buildings were originally medieaval store rooms, and were later grain storage for tax-collectors.

The history is in the walls, and we have taken care of the history of one of the old pubs, Stadshuskällaren Friheten. Surrounded by living history, Clarion Hotel Wisby is the hotel for you who want to get to know this charming town.

The hotel is close to Wisby airport andthe ferry-connections, and offers a unique aooprtunity to explore the attractions of Gotland. Not far away you will find Wisby Strand, one of the largest conference venues in Gotland.

The hotel history creates a special atmosphere where the mediaeval buildings meet modern hotel facilities. Here you can get inspiration from 700 yearold architecture, whilst enjoying a massage or fine meal.

Though you can walk trough mediaeval hallways and lean against columns from the 14th century this is not a museum, but a guest in a modern and functional hotel.
