Hotel Astoria Hamar

The Quality Hotel Astoria is an informal conference hotel situated in the center of Hamar and close to the scenic lake, Mjøsa. The hotel is ideally located with walking distance of Skibladner, the world’s oldest paddle steamer in scheduled service. You will also find the Hedmark Museum (Hedmarksmuseet og Domkirkeodden) close by. 

Hamar is known for its indoor speed skating arena, the Olympia Hall, sometimes known as the Viking Ship due to the shape of a boats hull. The arena was built to host the speed skating competitions of the 1994 Winter Olympics.
